SNAP offers the following project- and customer-related services:
Pre-Project Services
• Information on system requirements
• Supply of the necessary hardware and operational system, hosting by SNAP, if appropriate
• Release of the hardware and software components supplied by customer
• Analysis of the actual situation
• Draft of a work concept
• Draft of a project plan
• Comparison of the technical requirements and work out of adaptations jointly with our customer, if appropriate
Installation and roll out of the systems
• Installation and roll out of all server components in accordance with the Scope of Delivery
• Implementation of all necessary customizing works for systems design in accordance with workflow conception and upon agreement with customer’s project manager
• Installation and commissioning of interfaces
• Production and commissioning of customer-specific software
• Provision of systems for test production
• Execution of system checks
• Commissioning of the systems for real production
• Protection / validation of production systems by implementation of appropriate backup and recovery processes
Training and Production Monitoring
• We support our customer with the conception and production of sample pages, templates etc., and, if appropriate, training for super-users
• Training for system administration
• Instruction of customer’s staff with respect to system application
• Production monitoring by expert staff
Project Management
• Provision of an expert project manager for the life span of the project
• Coordination of resources of SNAP (trainer, technicians, programmer)
• Creation of project documents (for example project plans, minutes, training schedules etc.)
• Continuous work in project committees
Project Documentation
• Creation of a Customer Requirement Specification
• Continous work on Project Guide / Handbook
• Documentation of the production system
• Training documents for user
• User documentation
• Conception for the operation incl. of software administration and support, either as solution hosted by SNAP or operated by customer
• Backup concept
• Recovery concept
• Documents for project administration (Minutes)
• IT documentation (server, data bases, client software etc.)
Change Request
Any modifications of service exceeding the Customer Requirement Specification are agreed in a Change Request Procedure. We will carry out a cost-benefit analysis and take into consideration the impact on the time schedule.
