Today SNAP Innovation and FotoWare signed a distribution contract. With immediate effect all FotoWare products such as FotoStation, IndexManager and ColorFactor can be purchased via the SNAP sites in Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich.
“The FotoWare products are a useful complement to our portfolio”, said Ulrich Zimmer, Manager of SNAP Innovation. “This was a logical step because last year we could acquire customers who already used FotoWare. In addition, some of our new colleagues had already gathered some FotoWare expertise.”
FotoWare was founded in the early 90ies in Oslo and develops software for the archiving and workflow optimization of digital images. Software engineers of the company were significantly involved in the development of the first digital image transmitter.
The scalable solutions came into operation in all places where a daily increasing quantity of digital picture data had to be processed: In publishing houses, agencies, PR departments of companies, organizations and administrations, with photographers, in the field of building descriptions, research and medicine, in media centres, in museums and archives.
